The protagonist of this work.

After his father dies in an accident, he leaves school and takes over the family business, Sakura Mart, a supermarket.

The supermarket had been suffering from poor performance due to Kanayu's obstruction of business until then. He even quit the soccer club to help out.

However, he has never complained about this, and is rather pleased to be able to support the family, even if it is only in a small way.
