Her real name is Saihouji Rumi. She is Tokiwa's little sister. Seven years ago, prior to the "Fourth Day" incident, she was infected with the Alice virus. As she said herself, she was bitten by a mermaid. Unaware of it, she had infected her sister, Tokiwa, with the virus. Along with her, Rumi spent the entire seven years sleeping due to the aftereffects. Her father was both a proper father and a proper scientist. For that reason, he cured her sister Tokiwa and was planning to let Rumi sleep and be researched, since patients infected with the Alice virus are very rare.

However, influenced by Katagiri Hitose, he has temporarily woken her up and let her go on the underwater voyage. Nomura Reiri also had a significant part to play. She made a backdoor in the core system of SHEEPIII to enable her to move up the board. Also, she wore smartglasses in the opening ceremony to let Rumi "attend" it through them.
