Subaru is a resident of ward 25. Haruka's younger brother. Following Master's recommendation, Alice goes seek his advice regarding her trip to the "Vanished Mountain" area.

Tired of the social lifestyle, Subaru chooses to reside underground, where he would spend all days working and playing games on his computer. One could refer to him as a hikikomori, despite that, Subaru is a very knowledgeable person, thanks to all his friends and connections made online. He is also the creator of the Telepathy Network (TPN). Has a firm belief that everything must be traded equally, and is willing to help anyone he deems "qualified", with all his might.
