This character is crucified for a period of time. Crucifixion is a method of capital punishment in which the victim is tied or nailed to a large beam or cross and left to hang sometimes until death from exhaustion and asphyxiation.

Do not use the trait to refer to crucifixions related to BDSM activities. Use X-Cross instead.
