Graduated with a degree in painting from Tokyo Zokei University's School of Fine Arts. After graduating, began work with an animation backgrounds company, and contributed to many backgrounds for anime. Major works include art from "Puella Magi Madoka Magica" (TV anime, episodes 1-6), "Problem Children Are Coming from Another World, Aren't They?" and "Giovanni's Island."
