Vittorio Monti

Vittorio Monti (1868-1922) was an Italian conductor and composer who wrote numerous works for the violin and mandolin, as well as several ballets and operettas (small operas).

The piece he is most famous for is Csárdás, which was originally composed for violin, mandolin, or piano.
