Kagura Kazusa always trained to inherit the traditional dance style and traditions of his family.
However, he's rejected by his grandfather, who decides that his cousin, Katsura Kaguya, is a better choice.

After that, for a long time, he loses the will to live, just going by day by day, until he meets Urakawa Yanagi in his school's magic show.
