Meet Sawatari Rei, heir to a corporate empire, whose most valuable inheritance isn't stock but his grandfather's pocket watch. Within it lies a curious power: the ability to rewind time by five minutes, an ability he can use infinitely, though mastering it proves tricky.

While world-saving feats could be possible, Rei initially leverages this power for daily excitement—specifically, risk-free romantic reconnaissance. He confesses to one cute girl after another, then rewinds time to gauge their interest without consequence.

But one ordinary school day ends in horror when a girl falls from the roof. Using his watch, Rei jumps back and discovers the victim, the shy but brilliant first-year Suzuki Miu, caught mid-confession with his best friend just moments before.

Deeply impressed by the determination he lacks—confessing without a safety net—Rei impulsively decides to help Miu succeed in her next confession.

This decision sparks a bizarre three-way dynamic, complicating Rei's own ongoing mission to confess to the girls on his list.
