Takeru has feelings for his older childhood friend, Takizawa Haruka. Haruka moves to Tokyo for further studies, and Takeru promises to join her there in a year. After a year, he reunites with her in Tokyo, and they confess their feelings to each other. The seasons change, and they return to their hometown. Takeru becomes a teacher at his old school, and Haruka works as a shrine maiden at her family's shrine. Their relationship goes well, and they eventually get married.
