When he came to his senses he was in the darkness, too lost to know which way was up and which was down.

How long had he been there? How long would he remain?

As his voice grew hoarse, his screams going unheeded, and his last sparks of consciousness threatened to fade—it was then that a ray of light shone through the darkness.

He heard someone calling…

Driven by that voice, he desperately reached out to the light, only to see an unknown starry sky before him.

And in his arms was a girl with red eyes, and two horns pointing up at those strange heavens.

The girl was bleeding. The blood wasn't stopping. Teetering between life and death, she addressed him.

“A black mask…? You’re… my….”

Their rebellion began in that moment. The struggle of a princess bound by blood, and a man who lost his name.
