As summer break approaches, Nozomi Aikawa, a high school freshman, asks her neighbor and classmate, Satsuki Shinozuka, to help her study for her final exams.
Satsuki always wears a calm, gentle smile, but as they grow closer, Nozomi begins to notice cracks in that facade. It’s as if she’s carefully hiding something behind her kindness, enduring it all in silence.
Nozomi finds herself drawn to the fragile, fleeting quality of the girl who reminds her so much of her late mother.
