Netcromancer

netcromancer is set in a post-post-apocalyptic utopian city where little is left to fix with society except the unavoidable certainty of death. Citizens have cheated death so far as limiting their environment to preserve their bodies, cloning to preserve their legacies, and uploading their consciousness to preserve their minds. The story begins when Ellie Mason receives a corrupted file with one of these uploaded minds attached.
What else is to be done except to give this mind a new body and a new life.
