The company Magical Shield offers to the market bodyguards customized as magical girls.

Mimiko is one of these laboratory "products". She works as a bodyguard for an idol along with Puchin, her magical pet and only friend. Their work will be interrupted by an approaching revolt. Mimiko will have to choose between supporting the magical girls' rebel cause or staying loyal to the company.
