The protagonist Lyrine, a young girl originally meant to be a sacrificial offering, is abruptly transported to the near-future city of Area Beltheul. She'd apparently been "kidnapped" by a self-proclaimed adventurer named Thor, and she ends up staying with his friends, Rada and Neiza.

In this unfamiliar city, Lyrine navigates her new life with uncertainty. Meanwhile, Beltheul's Public Safety Bureau begins searching for her, determined to take her into protective custody...
